About Me

Professionally:

I have been practicing therapy for over 15 years, supporting children, young people and their families, as well as individuals. I am deeply passionate about empowering individuals to overcome challenges and create a more meaningful life, based on their choices, hopes, strengths and abilities.

I specialise in working with complex developmental trauma, attachment, child/parent therapy, parenting support, emotional regulation issues, PTSD and recovery from family and sexual violence.

I use a range of therapeutic modalities in my work, including art therapy, play therapy, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, and Theraplay, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my clients.

My warm, engaging, and playful nature makes my sessions both enjoyable and deeply therapeutic. I'm known for my creativity and fun-loving spirit, which I skilfully integrate into my work, creating a safe and inviting space for clients to express themselves. My compassion and non-judgmental stance allow me to meet clients exactly where they are, fostering a sense of trust and safety that is essential for healing.

Personally:

I have always been drawn to art since I was a young girl, and pursued art throughout school and further studies. After graduating I began volunteering which gave me the opportunity to support others. It seemed like a natural progression to then combine my passion for art with my passion for supporting and helping people, which led me to explore the field of art therapy.

I am a child of Italian migrants which expresses itself with exaggerated hand gestures, and a love of good food. I have lived and travelled to many far-flung places and enjoy immersing myself in new cultures and experiences. I also have a great love of the natural world and all its creatures and previously worked as a scuba diver around the world.

I recently moved from Melbourne to Central Victoria. One of my favourite past times is watching birds play and splash around in my new bird bath!
